Paul Scholes has slammed Manchester United’s big-money defenders, suggesting. They do not have what it takes to win the Premier League title. Analysing the squad

he fears could be relegated next season, Scholes has named. And criticised a number of stars he sees as falling short of their standards.
The Red Devils have splashed out big money on defenders in recent seasons. With the likes of Harry Maguire (£80m), Aaron Wan-Bissaka (£50m), Victor Lindelof (£30.7m), Lisandro Martinez (£55m), Matthijs de Ligt (£38.5m) and Leni Yoro (£52m).
Scholes was less hawkish on his back three of Martinez, De Ligt and Yoro in his latest analysis.
“The age (De Ligt, 25) and the number of clubs he has played for worry me. He was brilliant at Ajax but he seems to be getting worse. หากคุณสนใจเล่นพนันออนไลน์ที่ดีที่สุด สามารถสมัครสมาชิก UFABET ได้ที่นี่ พร้อมรับโปรโมชั่นพิเศษสำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ “When he got older, Bayern Munich and Juventus both let him go for some reason,” he told The Overlap Fan Debate.
“Where are their ambitions? I mean to win the Premier League, can they win the Premier League with De Ligt and Yoro at centre-half?”
“You [fans] say you think they’re doing quite well, but is it good enough?”
Scholes added of Yoro: “Look, he’s a young player but I don’t like what I’ve seen from him so far. “
Did you watch the Southampton game? He’s a young player but he’s a centre-back who I would keep if I were to build a two-centre centre-back system in the future.”
While addressing Martinez, the United legend was distrustful of his ability, saying: “He’s fit but he’s not good enough to win the Premier League.”
